I’m a 40ish neurodivergent woman with two neurodivergent kiddos and a husband who is possibly neurotypical, but we love him anyway.
As someone who has received my various neurodivergent diagnoses later in life, I have a lifetime of masking and hiding to recover from as I work towards creating safe spaces for my children.
Katie Mae’s Dailies is a place where we can all take our hats off, kick back, and be ourselves. In the film business, of which I am not a part in any way, the dailies are raw, unedited footage.
It is my goal to write as vulnerably and honestly as I can about our daily lives because I believe whether you or your family are neurodivergent or not, you will find understanding and connection here.
I hope you come to my Dailies with an open mind and a goal of finding the many ways we are all connected and doing our best every day as flawed, beautiful humans in a challenging, beautiful world.
